editing CCR video #1

Editing this video was fairly easy as compared to all the others. The filming process was extremely quick considering I had the script pre-written and my actors, including myself, had the lines previously learnt. In contrast to most of my other projects, this video was edited through Capcut. Capcut was very user-friendly and definitely perfect for a video like this one. This is because the video did not require any advanced editing techniques or special effects and was somewhat simplistic.

In order to film this video, I had to go to target to purchase the actual board game. After doing so, I took a white piece of printer paper and slid it into the game so the faces of the people were not visible. Instead of faces, we wrote movie titles in the squares. The purpose for this was to attempt to guess the movie instead of the person, adjusted to match the CCR questions I was aiming to answer. Each question that my actors asked, was related to my film opening and whether the answer was yes or no is accurate to my project.

I believe this idea took a creative approach to answering CCR questions 3 and 4. This idea came to me because I was in class, thinking about how much fun I was going to have with my older cousins when they came to visit. While trying to think about different activities we could do together, I was going through some fun board games we could play while watching a movie. The Guess Who came to mind. I don’t quite remember how I connected the dots to filming a video with it but I believe it is a creative way of executing it.
